Unfour

Roadmap

See what is released, in progress, and planned for Unfour’s local workspace, MCP workflows, release hardening, and optional Pro services.

Core local workspace

Completed

The Unfour desktop workspace now covers API interoperability, database editing and multi-statement execution, SSH file transfer and task automation, and shared workspace variables.

  • - OpenAPI 3.1 export and OpenAPI YAML import
  • - Database row editing and sequential multi-statement execution
  • - SFTP remote files, SSH tasks, and shared workspace environments

MCP-assisted troubleshooting

Completed

MCP support is now available, allowing approved local tools to be used by compatible AI agents under user control.

  • - Safe tool approval boundaries defined
  • - Setup guidance published
  • - AI-assisted workflows remain local-first by design

Stable release hardening

In progress

Unfour is publicly available. Platform signing and broader Linux verification are still in progress.

  • - Complete Windows Authenticode signing
  • - Complete Apple signing and notarization, and verify Linux launch, desktop integration, and updater behavior in real environments
  • - Keep platform and installation guidance aligned

Pro subscriptions and Cloud Sync access

Implemented

Hosted monthly Pro checkout, subscription management, and backend-managed Cloud Sync entitlements are available to signed-in users.

  • - Open the hosted monthly checkout from Settings → Account
  • - Manage an active subscription through the hosted billing portal
  • - Refresh and enforce active Cloud Sync entitlements in the desktop app

Release status

Unfour is available for Windows x64 and macOS on Apple Silicon or Intel. Windows and macOS are currently unsigned; the macOS packages have passed real-device checks. Linux x64 AppImage is published and downloadable, but remains Experimental and has not completed real-environment verification.
